The Three Pillars of a Healthy Body: Hormones, Microbiome, Nutrients

Hormones are the body’s operating system.
They coordinate the work of all “programs”: sleep, energy, appetite, growth, mood, libido, weight.
When hormones are in balance, the system runs smoothly and steadily.
When there’s a malfunction, you get “glitches”: fatigue, irritability, weight gain, insomnia, skin issues, digestive problems.

Microbiome is like a garden inside us.
Good bacteria are the “healthy plants” — they strengthen health and provide “fruits”: vitamins and protection.
Pathogens are the “weeds” that push out the good and cause disease.
Nutrition is the fertilizer: fiber and probiotics feed the beneficial bacteria.
Antibiotics are like herbicides — they wipe out everything.

Care for the garden — and it flourishes.
Neglect it — and the weeds take over, damaging the “soil.”

Nutrients are the building blocks: proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals.
Without them, the body simply can’t function.

In truth, there are not three but four pillars — the body cannot be separated from the mind. **Psychology** is the deepest foundation of your health.

The better you know your body, the better you can care for it.
